Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
